The Hard Rock Hotel became a TAG Approved™ hotel in September 2009. TAG Approved Hotels:
1. Enforce non-discriminatory policies including "sexual orientation."
2. Treat heterosexual and domestic partners equally in personnel policies.
3. Provide diversity and sensitivity training for employees.
4. Empower customers and employees to be "watchdogs" of its gay and lesbian business practices.
The clientele at the Hard Rock Hotel Chicago is mainstream but welcomes guests of any lifestyle. One of the three organizations benefitting from our Hard Rock, Soft Spot program caters to the LGBT Chicago community.
