Even the hardest of rock bands have a ballad on their set list. Just as a ballad’s sentimental lyrics expose a glimpse of an artist’s emotional side, the Hard Rock Hotel Chicago reveals the soft spot of the brand.

Hard Rock Soft Spot is Hard Rock Hotel Chicago’s charitable program designed to benefit both local not-for-profit organizations and hotel guests alike. Upgrade to the next room type and $15 of each night’s stay will be donated to one of three charities that have a soft spot in the Hard Rock’s heart:

Center on Halsted
The Center on Halsted offers support networks and programming to meet the cultural, emotional, social, educational and recreational needs of the LGBT community in the Chicago area. Current services include support groups, mental health services, HIV/STD hotline; prevention, treatment, and advocacy related to domestic violence; community technology center, and life-enrichment programs.

Greater Chicago Food Depository
A not-for-profit food distribution and training center providing food for hungry people while striving to end hunger in our community. The Food Depository distributes donated and purchased food through a network of 600 food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters to almost a half-million adults and children every year.

The Gibson Foundation
An organization committed to making the world a better place for children by creating, developing, and supporting programs and other non-profit organizations in their efforts to advance education, music, and the arts, the environment, health & welfare causes.

Hard Rock Soft Spot does more than just fund select Chicago area non-profits. It also rewards those who give. Guests will rest extraordinarily well in upgraded accommodations knowing that their stay benefited a worthy cause.

To participate in our Hard Rock Soft Spot program, either call our Reservations department at 312-345-1000 or inquire upon check-in.

At Hard Rock, we do what we can to help charitable organizations raise funds for their unique and important causes. Our Rock Support Program allows not-for-profit organizations to purchase rooms at our four-star property at a steeply discounted rate not available to the general public. Your organization can use this discount at your discretion to help aide in your cause’s goal. Your request should be received on official letterhead accompanied by a business card of the requestor.
