Traveling as a nursing mother is a unique challenge. That's why Hard Rock Hotel Chicago has developed the Nursing Mothers Amenity Program to better meet the unique needs of guests who are breastfeeding or 'pumping' while traveling.
Proceeds from these in-room amenities benefit local families of children in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago through the Jackson Chance Foundation, an Illinois non-profit dedicated to providing support to NICU families, allowing them to spend more time with their baby. The program costs just $30.
Unique Amenities Package for Nursing Moms
Medela, the top choice of hospitals and mothers, has partnered with Hard Rock Hotel Chicago to provide hospital-grade Symphony breastpumps and breastfeeding Accessory Starter Sets. In addition, the Nursing Mothers Amenity Program also features convenient in-room amenities such as microwaves, mini-refrigerators, ice packs, and mini cooler bags for transportation.

Experience the largest street fair in the Midwest at Northhalsted Market Days. This two-day fair takes place in August and spans six city blocks filled with unique food and arts and craft vendors from across the country. In addition to dining and shopping, you’ll be entertained by more than 40 musical acts. Past performers include Wilson Phillips, Aaron Carter, and Sugar High.
Chicago Pride Parade
Celebrate love and experience Chicago’s vibrant LGBT community during Pride Weekend, which consists of a two-day festival and world-famous parade. The festival takes place along the famed Halsted strip on the last weekend of June, commemorating the anniversary of the Stonewall Riots. The Chicago Pride Parade marches over a 4-mile route, starting at Montrose Avenue and Broadway in Uptown and ending near the intersection of Diversey Parkway and Sheridan Road in Lincoln Park. Festival-goers will enjoy music, exhibitors, and great food and drinks.
